Founder and Owner-Tyler Compari
I grew up on a farm in NJ where I worked most of my childhood and began building and fixing everything around me. I spent my childhood summers bailing Alfalfa hay and have since named my dog Alfalfa, where the name ‘FALFA’ was derived.
I received a Bachelor of Architecture at Jefferson University in Philadelphia. After College, I moved to Santa Cruz, CA and worked as a carpenter from foundation to finish on multimillion-dollar remodels. I then relocated across the country twice and ended up in Bellingham in 2019 where I worked as a Plans Examiner for the City of Bellingham and learned the permitting process and building code quite well.
After 10 years of working in the built environment as a carpenter, architectural drafter, metalworker, plans examiner, and real estate developer....I started Falfa Workshop to help provide residential architecture services with quick turnaround times and affordable rates.
